Helicopter tours

Explore Masada and fly over Jerusalem                                          Duration: approx. 5 ¼ hours

You will experience some of the world’s most incredible scenery and historical finds as you journey first to the Dead Sea and to Masada, a mountain fort that is now a national Jewish shrine, and world famous for its recognition by UNESCO for its unique structure and history.

Taking off from your flight begins, providing a bird’s-eye view of the ancient city of Ashkelon and the Gaza strip beyond. As the fertile northern section of the Negev Desert leads eastward into the Judean Desert, you will begin to notice steep, deep canyons leading to the Dead Sea - the lowest point on earth !

You will ascend by cable car to this mountaintop fortress, built by Herod the Great. After a morning of extraordinary vistas your will re-board the helicopter and fly over the Syrian-African rift and the Dead Sea. Fly over the Galilee and explore Jerusalem                                 Duration: approx 9 ½  hours

Including a flight over the Galilee and a guided tour in Jerusalem.

Taking off, pass biblical Jaffa, the historic gateway to Israel; and cosmopolitan Tel Aviv, the historic city designated by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage site. Next, you will marvel at Herod’s magnificent Caesarea, its Roman Theater, the Hippodrome and impressive aqueduct, which provided fresh water for miles into Caesarea. Hover above the Tel of Megiddo, or the famed Armageddon. At this point, you will land for a refueling stop at the Jezreel Valley.

More history is revealed as you fly over Nazareth and the Church of the Annunciation, Mt Tabor the traditional site of the Transfiguration and the Sea of Galilee. View Capernaum, Tiberias and Yardenit, the famous baptismal site on the Jordan River. The flight continues above Beit Shean, the ancient city that boasts 29 layers of civilization and Mount Gilboa, located directly above the Jezreel Valley. 

After a short fueling stop, you will fly over the Judean Hills toward Jerusalem and enjoy magnificent views only accessible by helicopter: Mt. Scopus, Mt. Next, you will marvel at Herod’s magnificent Caesarea, the Roman Theater, the Hippodrome and impressive aqueduct, which provided fresh water for miles into Caesarea.  Hover above Tel Aviv, the historic city designated by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage site. This thriving metropolis, with its skyscrapers and shops, nightlife and cafes, is the country’s financial and business center as well as its cultural and entertainment capital.

Fly over the Galilee and explore the Holy Sites                               Duration: approx. 7 ¼ hours

Taking off you will hover above the amazing UNESCO World Heritage Site of Acre, a city whose history dates back almost 4,000 years and which once played a pivotal role during the Crusaders rule in the 11th century. As you head eastward you will see Zippori, the legendary birthplace of Virgin Mary, where Christian, Jewish and pagan communities co-existed here in the 3rd century.

More history is revealed as you fly over Nazareth, the Church of the Annunciation and Mt. Tabor, the traditional site of the Transfiguration. You will hover over the Horns of Hittin, where the Muslim armies captured or killed the vast majority of the Crusader forces. Continue over Mount Arbel with a panoramic view dominating the entire surrounding.

Next land by the shores of the Sea of Galilee, where your transportation and guide await to escort you on a guided walking tour. This tour allows you to experience for yourself the historic locations and stunning scenery of the places where it is believed Jesus lived, preached and performed his miracles Your first stop will be at the Mount of Beatitudes, where according to tradition Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Then, fly above the Carmel range, the Druze villages and Mount Carmel which offers breathtaking views of Haifa town, its glistening bay and the Baha’i Shrine and Gardens. The city of Haifa’s most striking landmark, the Baha’i Shrine and Gardens is a unique combination of immaculately manicured lawns and a delicately crafted place of worship.
